Community Update | Valley Beat Team - Patchwalk with Platform Housing

Dear Members,

PCSO 6178 Nicola Russell from the Valley Beat Team recently participated in a multi-agency patch walk on Matthew Close, Kegworth, in partnership with Platform Housing to support local residents and address community concerns.

Patch walks provide an important opportunity for partner agencies to collaboratively assess local areas, identify issues first-hand, and engage directly with residents. These visits help to highlight concerns such as environmental maintenance, anti-social behaviour, and wider community safety matters.

Multi-agency working remains a key element in delivering effective and lasting solutions. By working together, sharing information, and coordinating resources, partner organisations can respond more efficiently to local issues, improve the environment, and enhance the safety and wellbeing of the community.

A further multi-agency patch walk has been scheduled for 2nd July in Long Whatton, continuing this proactive approach to addressing local concerns and strengthening community partnerships.

Residents are encouraged to continue reporting any concerns to their local policing team or relevant partners.
